Wooohooo... Proper wind, sunshine and summer wetsuits in July!

I still wasn't feeling too well, not helped by the fact that I coldn't sleep last night so got up at 4am after lying in bed awake since 2am, at least it meant that the 'early' 9am start didn't feel early at all.

I waited around for Steve and then went across to the beach with my little wave board and my 5m and 4m Gun Hammer sails. I decided to rig the 5m frist and was the first out on the water. Maxed out from the off and about to punch out through the sizeable waves with ease. the faces were logo high at times. Steve and Impi soon joined me and we all had an excellent if challenging sail. I got well and truly clobbered by a big wave whilst giving it some welly off the lip and ended up with a big swim at one point so gave up on the wave-rinding after that and just stuck to going for decent jumps on the way out.

I wasn't in the right frame of mind for any forward loop attempts and didn;t feel up to it physically either. A few others came out later including Chris, Chris (kitesurfing), Stevebus and a few others that I didn't get chance to talk to... I'm sure they all had a good day.

Wold have stayed out longer but my flu capsules were wearing off and I just didn't have the energy. Only 4 stars not 5 as I just wasn't quite fit enough to make the most of it.
